Buffalo brings internal SSD with USB Port
Before one can exchange the existing drive to be mirrored on the new medium. The fujitsu lifebook e8110 battery capacity reaches 32-256 GB. The smallest model costs 130 €.
Buffalo MicroStation has expanded its range with internal 2.5-inch SSDs. The new models have in addition to SATA-II interface a USB 2.0 port. This allows to copy the data from notes and netbooks with only one before installing the Festplattenslot SSD. Buffalo’s SSDs are now available from € 129.99.
The price is for the smallest model with 32 gigabytes. The SSDs, however, are also available with 64, 128 and 256 GByte. The transfer speed depends on the capacity: the 32-gigabyte model provides 240 MB / s read and 80 MB / s when writing. The most expensive version with 256 gigabytes also reads 240 Mbytes / s, but requires up to 190 MByte / s.
The SSDs is the software Acronis True Image HD, which can copy the contents of a hard disk to the temporary externally connected SSD, which only made the exchange. Buffalo promises five times the performance by such a change.
The manufacturer lenovo thinkpad x41 battery gives as operating systems supported 32 – and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and starting with Windows Vista, Windows XP SP2 and Mac OS 10.5. The guarantee lasts for three years.
